BRITAX has been at the heart of passenger safety for over forty years, leading and developing many of the innovations that have become safety standard in vehicles, innovations we rely on to protect us in our everyday lives (e.g. ISOFIX). Especially in the field of child safety BRITAX is best known. Our name is synonymous with a safe and responsible way to protect children when they’re on the move.

Whether child car seats or our selected range of wheeled goods, the BRITAX brand is trusted by parents across the globe, who know every product we make is a promise of safety, quality, and the very best for their child.

Our Investment

It’s an indication of just how important safety is to us that BRITAX is one of the few children’s car seat manufacturers to have it’s own dedicated crash test facilities – the kind major motor manufacturers use. It is this willingness to make the right investments in safety that makes our opinions so respected by governments, safety organisations and motoring bodies.

Our World, a safer world

We’re known for our child car safety work across the developed word, especially in Europe, North America and the Pacific, in fact, wherever modern roads are found, so are our products.

We are developing in two main areas, child car safety, and child wheeled goods like pushchairs, buggies and prams.

Child car safety is, of course, all about keeping children from harm, but it’s also about making parent’s life simpler and more convenient. Car safety is not just about having a safe car seat but installing the seat correctly and to minimise installation errors. Your child’s overall safety is our number 1 priority.

That’s as true for a newborn as it is for growing children into adolescence, so our entire range - from the BABY-SAFE Sleeper that allows newborn babies to travel laying fully flat down, to the EVOLVA 1-2-3 which is designed to appeal up to 12 year olds - looks and feels every bit as good as they perform.

Wheeled goods have come a long way from the traditional pram. BRITAX provides high quality products - combined fashion sense with the kind of features that go with our busy, modern lifestyle as well as robust pushchairs that can go right off the beaten track with ease for long and comfortable walks on the country side. Our pushchairs are suitable from birth and easily convert from rearward to forward facing to adapt to the development of the child.

Our Business

Since we started life in the 1930’s and then focused on child car safety in the 70’s we’ve grown significantly over the years keeping child safety always at the heart of our business. What made our products so good then has been used to further develop better, safer products over the years. Our heritage is built on keeping children always as safe as possible.
