Replacement parts / Replacement covers
Original Britax replacement parts (such as replacement covers) are available from your local retailer. There you will find friendly staff who will advise you and order the necessary part if it is not in stock.
Unfortunately, replacement covers are no longer available for the following models:
- Eclipse (pre 2005)
- Club Class and Club Class Extra
- Cruiser and Super Cruiser
- Rock-a-Bye
- Recliner
- Two-Way
- Two-in-One
- Galaxy
- Monarch
If your child car seat has been involved in an accident
In order for a child restraint to give protection it can endure heavy stresses in a vehicle collision that may cause unseen damage to the seat. It is quite likely that even following a severe accident a child seat may appear visually undamaged, but it could well have undergone structural stress that would impair its efficiency in the future. Therefore, we do not recommend that any child car seat should be used again following an accident (excluding minor scrapes, parking speed, etc...).
Child seat buckles
Common problems with child seat buckles such as sticky buttons and the buckle not clicking, are usually caused by dust or dirt. If a problem does occur then please refer to the child car seat's user-guide which explains simple ways to resolve these problems.
